Nov. 18, 2008 (China Knowledge) - China Southern Airlines<600029><1055><ZNH>, the country's largest carrier by fleet size, has reduced fuel surcharge on part of international long-haul flights from Nov. 12, according to sources.
Fuel surcharge for flights between China and the Middle East countries has been cut to RMB 550, and that for routes between China and America, Australia and Africa, as well as between Middle East and Australia, and between Lagos, Nigeria and Guangzhou has been reduced to RMB 950.
Further more, surcharge for flights between the U.S. and Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam, which are less than 24-hour connecting flights via China, has been lowered to RMB 950.
In addition, surcharge for flights between Europe and Middle & South America has also been reduced to RMB 950.
